LineChart Know Issue: Default Transparent Back Wall Colour in Adroit 10.0.5.1/MAPS 18.104.22.168
There is currently a know issue with regards to the LineChart when upgrading to Adroit 10.0.5.1/MAPS 22.214.171.124. If you have not set the Visible or Transparent property of the Back Wall in previous versions, then you may notice that the Back Wall Colour default has been changed to Transparent. This will give the LineChart the side-effect appearance of taking on the Graphic Forms BackColour.
This is due to the underlying chart control we use, Steema TeeChart, changing their defaults in the newer 2020 version of their charts.
We have reverted the Back Wall defaults in the Steema TeeChart code back to what they were in the next Adroit 10.0.5.2/MAPS 126.96.36.199 release.
In meantime you may workaround this by do the following:
- Click the LineChart Smart Tag and click Built-in Chart Editor…
- In the Built-in Chart Editor, select Chart and click the Walls tab and then its Back sub tab.
You will notice in the Back sub tab that the Back Wall may be set to Visible unchecked and Transparent checked.
To revert back to the previous Back Wall defaults, you will need to check Visible and uncheck Transparent and click Close.
