Replacing FR-D700 with FR-E800. Some considerations
When looking for a suitable replacement for a FR-D700 drive, other than the FR-D700 drive, there are additional options available.
In general, a FR-CS80 (a cheaper option than FR-D700) and FR-E800 (a more expensive option than a FR-D800) can be considered.
When is FR-CS80 a possible solution:
- when the original FR-D700 was not connected to a break resistor\unit.
- when the original FR-D700 did not have the safety circuit utilized (D700SC)
If either of the above cases is in place, then the FR-E800 can be used.
It does accommodate the Brake resistor\unit function
